Entering Harvest Season, Grain Prices Slope Down

In March 2024, the producer price of grain in D.I Yogyakarta at the farm level for the quality of Milled Dry Grain (GKG) amounted to Rp.7,700 per kg or decreased by 8.59 percent compared to the previous month, while for the quality of Harvested Dry Grain (GKP) was recorded at Rp.6,593.55 per kg or decreased by 9.29 percent.

In March 2024, Yogyakarta Province experienced year on year (yoy) inflation of 2.95 percent. The three main contributing commodities to yoy inflation are rice, gold jewelry, and red chili.

The indicator was conveyed during the Press Release of Official Statistical News by the Head of BPS D.I. Yogyakarta Province, Herum Fajarwati in the Truntum Room (01/04).
