Get to Know Statistics in an Interesting Way

Learning statistics can not only be done in the classroom. This was proven by the visit of 17 Montessori Junior High School students to BPS DIY Province (25/04), accompanied by the Vice Principal for Curriculum, Caecilia Candrarini. The group was welcomed by the Head of General Affairs of BPS DIY Province, Iwan Fajar Prasetyawan.

The event was filled with a presentation about the activities carried out by BPS and the products produced. The event ended with a room tour to the Integrated Statistics Service of BPS DIY Province.

This visit is expected to introduce statistics more closely and provide insight into the stages of data collection, analysis, and presentation as a basis for policy making.
