Declaration of the Village of Love for Statistics (Beautiful Village) in 2024

On Wednesday (21/8), the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Kulon Progo Regency held a socialization and declaration of Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik) 2024 in Giripeni Village, Kapanewon Wates. The Desa Cantik program is a strategic step to increase statistical literacy and awareness as well as the active role of village officials and the community in organizing statistical activities and optimizing the use of statistical data. Through this program, we are committed to ensuring that the data produced is not only accurate, but also relevant and reliable as the basis for better decision-making at the village level.

The declaration of Desa Cantik Giripeni was carried out by the Secretary of Kulon Progo Regency, Mr. Triyono, S.IP, M.Si. In this event, the inauguration of statistical agents was also carried out by the Head of Giripeni Village, Mr. Iswanto Adi Saputro, S.E. This activity was also attended by the Head of the Kulon Progo Communication and Information Service, Representative of the Head of BPS DIY Province, Head of BPS Kulon Progo Regency, Panewu Wates, statistical agents, and the community.
