Poverty Reduction Workshop in Yogyakarta

Thursday (22/8), at Riss Hotel Malioboro, the Head of BPS Yogyakarta Province, Herum Fajarwati, was a guest speaker at the Workshop on Reducing Poverty in Yogyakarta from a Democratic Perspective.

This event was held in order to oversee the implementation of the Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) as one of the National Priority Programs. In calculating the IDI, one of the indicators measured is the Government's efforts in poverty alleviation, so this program must be a priority for both the Central and Regional Governments.

On this occasion, Herum Fajarwati provided material related to the current condition of DIY Strategic Indicators, ranging from IDI, Happiness Index, Poverty Level, to Human Development Index (HDI).
