DIY is getting more crowded, archipelago tourist visits are observed to increase

The number of domestic tourist visits to DIY from January to October 2024 increased by 23.27 percent compared to the same period in 2023, from 25.47 million trips to 31.40 million trips.

In November 2024, DIY Province experienced month to month (mtm) inflation of 0.25 percent and year on year (yoy) inflation of 1.14 percent. The commodity that contributed the most to mtm inflation was shallots, while the commodity driving yoy inflation was gold jewelry.

The indicator was conveyed by the Head of BPS DIY Province, Herum Fajarwati in the press release of Official Statistical News at the Bima Room of BPS DIY Province (02/12).
