#Sahabatdata, The Human Development Index (HDI) of Yogyakarta Province in 2024 was recorded at 81.62, an increase of 0.53 points compared to 2023, with a very high human development achievement status (HDI≥80). This achievement places D.I. Yogyakarta as the province with the 2nd highest HDI nationally, after DKI Jakarta.
The growth of HDI 2024 is supported by an increase in all dimensions of HDI formation, namely longevity and healthy living, knowledge, and decent standard of living.
At the district / city level, Yogyakarta City, Sleman Regency, and Bantul, are in the very high category, with the highest HDI achievement in Yogyakarta City (89.10), while the highest growth was achieved by Sleman Regency (1.00 percent).
