State Defense Day December 19, 2024

Hi, #friendsdata, Thursday (19/12), BPS DIY Province held a ceremony to commemorate State Defense Day. State Defense Day is commemorated every December 19 to commemorate the struggle of the heroes during the Second Dutch Military Aggression in 1948. At that time, the fighters persevered to reclaim Yogyakarta, which at that time was the capital of Indonesia.

The spirit of love for the country and the dedication of the heroes in defending independence is an inspiration for all of us. Now, in a peaceful era, it is our duty to continue their struggle by contributing to the nation according to our respective fields.
