Synergy to Improve the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics

Friends of Data, on Friday (24/1), BPS D.I. Yogyakarta Province received a comparative study visit from the Communication and Information Agency of East Java Province. This visit aims to learn more details about the Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) and the mechanism for fostering sectoral statistics as an effort by the East Java Provincial Government to improve the quality of the implementation of sectoral statistics.

In 2024, D.I. Yogyakarta Province is in the third position in the Statistical Development Index (SDI), while East Java Province is in the fourth position.

Through close collaboration between data supervisors, data guardians, and data producers, it is expected that the implementation of sectoral statistics will be stronger.
