Working Visit of the Head of RI and Plt. Secretary General of BPS RI

Tuesday (25/2), on the sidelines of her busy schedule as a guest speaker at the Regional Head Retreat event in Magelang, the Head of BPS RI, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti and Plt. Principal Secretary of BPS RI, Dadang Hardiwan made a working visit to the Special Region of Yogyakarta.

Accompanied by the Head of BPS DIY Province, Herum Fajarwati, Amalia and Dadang held an audience with Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X as well as the Governor of Yogyakarta. On this occasion, Amalia and the Sultan discussed the collaboration that can be done by BPS and the Yogyakarta Regional Government to support government programs through quality data.

The event continued to BPS DIY Province to greet all employees of BPS DIY Province and representatives of BPS kabupaten/kota. On this occasion, Amalia conveyed the importance of maintaining data quality and advised all employees to participate in the success of the BPS agenda, one of which is the 2026 Economic Census.
