Kartini Day Ceremony

Monday (21/4), at the office yard, BPS D.I. Yogyakarta Province held a Kartini Day commemoration ceremony as a form of respect for the struggle and spirit of emancipation of Indonesian women.

On this occasion, Acting. Head of BPS Yogyakarta Province, Herum Fajarwati, read the mandate of the Indonesian Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, who invited all ceremony participants to emulate the values of R.A. Kartini's struggle in realizing equality and empowerment of women in all fields.

Kartini's spirit is a reminder for all of us that the role of women is very important, including in the development of quality data and statistics.
