Consumer Price Index/Inflation Rate on Yogyakarta, October 2021

Abstract

The city of Yogyakarta in October 2021 experienced inflation of 0.24 percent due to an increase in the consumer price index for the food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.23 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.10 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by 0.07 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.40 percent; health group by 0.04 percent; transportation group by 0.56 percent; information, communication and financial services group by 0.06 percent; education group by 0.75 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 0.38 percent. The group experiencing deflation is the recreation, sports and culture group by 0.07 percent. The relatively stable group is the food and beverage/restaurant supply group.

In 90 cities whose inflation rate was calculated, 68 CPI cities experienced inflation and 22 CPI cities experienced deflation.

The calendar inflation rate (October 2021 to December 2020) is 1.12 percent and the year on year inflation rate (October 2021 to October 2020) is 1.74 percent.
