Abstract

  • The Human Development Index (HDI) in 2021 is 80.22, growing 0.31 percent (an increase of 0.25 points) compared to the achievement in 2020. 
  • In terms of education, children aged 7 years have the hope of enjoying 15.64 years of education or equivalent to the length of time to complete education up to Diploma III level. In addition, the average length of schooling for residents aged 25 years and over will also increase to 9.64 years in 2021.
  • In terms of health, babies born in 2021 have the hope of living up to 75.04 years, while still occupying the highest life expectancy in Indonesia.
  • Meanwhile, in terms of a decent standard of living, per capita expenditure has crawled again by 0.68 percent to Rp. 14.11 million per year in 2021 compared to 2020.
