Abstract

Yogyakarta City in December 2021 experienced inflation of 0.71 percent due to an increase in the consumer price index for the food, beverage and tobacco group by 2.38 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by 0.21 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.19 percent; health group by 0.02 percent; transportation group by 0.72 percent; information, communication and financial services group by 0.05 percent; food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 0.12 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 0.19 percent. The groups experiencing deflation were clothing and footwear by 0.02 percent; and recreation, sports and culture groups by 0.04 percent. The relatively stable group is the education group.
  • In 90 cities whose inflation rate was calculated, 88 CPI cities experienced inflation and 2 CPI cities experienced deflation.
