Abstract

The city of Yogyakarta in March 2022 experienced inflation of 0.77 percent due to an increase in the consumer price index for the food group by 1.39 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.35 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by 0.37 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.75 percent; health group by 0.01 percent; transportation group by 0.96 percent; information, communication and financial services group by 0.02 percent; recreation, sports and culture groups by 0.07 percent; food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 0.87 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 1.49 percent. While the education group is relatively stable.
  • In 90 cities whose inflation rate was calculated, 88 CPI cities experienced inflation and 2 CPI cities experienced deflation.
  • The calendar inflation rate (March 2022 to December 2021) is 1.41 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (March 2022 to March 2021) is 2.95 percent.
