Abstract

  • The Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) in October 2022 was 98.37, an index increase of 0.32 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 98.06.
  • The NTP of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in October 2022, reached 98.37, an index increase of 0.32 percent compared to the previous month of 98.06. The NTP of the food crops sub-sector is 94.62; horticulture subsector 122.71; people's plantation sub-sector 106.62; livestock sub-sector 96.52; and fisheries sub-sector 93.19.
  • The increase in the combined FTT index this month was due to an increase in three sub-sectors, namely: food crops by 1.81 percent, smallholder plantations by 3.61 percent, and fisheries by 0.16 percent. Meanwhile, horticulture decreased by 6.06 percent, and livestock also fell 0.97 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in October 2022 was recorded at 98.76, down 0.40 percent compared to the previous month of 99.15.
  • The rural Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in October 2022 generally reached 117.03, experiencing a deflation of 0.61 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 117.75.
  • From 34 provinces in October 2022, 23 provinces experienced an increase, and 11 provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Bengkulu by 3.92 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in North Sulawesi by 1.80 percent.
