Abstract

    DIY Economy in Quarter III-2023 grew 4.96 Percent (Y-on-Y)
  • DIY Economy in Quarter III-2023 grew 0.23 Percent (Q-to-Q)
  • The DIY economy in the third quarter of 2023 grew 5.14 percent (C-to-C
  • Economy of the Special Region of Yogyakarta based on product size
  • Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on current prices for the third quarter of 2023 reached IDR 44.92 trillion and based on constant prices in 2010 reached IDR 29.54 trillion.
  • The DIY economy in the third quarter of 2023 compared to the third quarter of 2022 grew by 4.96 percent (y-on-y). The highest growth was achieved by Financial Services and Insurance at 14.14 percent, followed by Transportation and Warehousing at 13.35 percent, and Other Services at 11.11 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) component of 8.77 percent.
  • Compared to the second quarter of 2023, the DIY economy grew 0.23 percent (q-to q). The business sector with the highest growth was Construction at 10.65 percent, followed by Mining and Quarrying at 4.98 percent and Education services at 4.33 percent. In terms of expenditure, it was mainly driven by growth in the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) component of 5.03 percent.
  • DIY's economic structure in the third quarter of 2023 is dominated by the Processing Industry business sector with a contribution of 11.78 percent, followed by Information and Communication at 10.29 percent, and Agriculture at 10.02 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, household consumption expenditure still dominates with a contribution of 62.15 percent.
