Abstract

A. EXPORTS

  • The value of D.I. Yogyakarta’s exports in November 2024 reached US$51.95 million, increased 6.43 percent compared to exports in October 2024 and increased 32.83 percent compared to November 2023.
  • The main country destinations of exports in November 2024 were United States at US$20.93 million, Germany at US$4.67 million, and Japan at US$4.32 million. The contribution of the three reached 57.59 percent. Meanwhile, exports to the European Union and ASEAN amounted to US$11.42 million and US$3.38 million, respectively.
  • The highest increase of exports in November 2024 was articles of apparel and clothing accessories, knitted or crocheted, in amount of US$4.33 million from October 2024. The greatest decrease was articles of leather; saddlery and harness; travel goods and similar co, in amount of US$1.68  million.
  • By industry classification, exports of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries during November 2024 increased 670.00 percent compared to October 2024. Meanwhile, exports of manufacturing products increased by 2.35 percent. Compared to the same period in 2023, exports of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries increased 541.67 percent and exports of manufacturing products increased by 28.10 percent.
  • According to the province of loaded, the largest exports of D.I. Yogyakarta November 2024 loaded from Jawa Tengah with among 69.53 percent, followed by DKI Jakarta at 25.68 percent, Jawa Timur at 3.89 percent, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta at 0.81 percent, and other provinces at 0.09 percent.

 

B. IMPORTS

  • Imports of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in November 2024 were worth US$20.17 million, increased 31.74 percent compared with October 2024, and increased by 32.18 percent compared with November 2023.
  • The largest trading partner countries of imports in November 2024 were China US$6.49 million, United States US$5.52 million, and Hong Kong US$4.29 million. The highest increased of imports was from United States in amount of US$3.62 million and the biggest decreased was from South Korea US$0.53 million.
  • The most significant increased in import was railway and tramway locomotive, mechanical traffic, and all kinds with US$4.17 million. The highest commodity imports in November 2024 were railway and tramway locomotive, mechanical traffic, and all kinds worth US$5.00 million; knitted or crocheted fabrics were US$4.67 million; and impregnated, coated, covered or laminated textile fabrics were US$1.33 million.
  • Compared with the same period last year, imports of consumption goods in November 2024 increased by 92.86 percent and intermediate goods increased by 31.79 percent. Meanwhile capital goods decreased by 17.33 percent.
  • D.I. Yogyakarta’s balance of trade in November 2024 experienced a surplus of US$31.78 million, higher than same period in 2023 was experienced a surplus of US$23.85 million.
