Most Air and Railway Transportation Activities Experienced a Decline in February 2025.

Abstract

The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in February 2025 was 134,452 people, a decrease of 15.39 percent compared to January 2025. Meanwhile, the number of passenger arriving was 135,319 people, a decrease 9.58 percent from previous record.
International air transport passengers decreased by 0.84 percent to 13,187 people. At the same time, passengers arrived decreased by 13.82 percent to 13,774 people in February 2025.
The freight transported by domestic air transport decreased by 14.19 percent to 1,200.25 tons compared to January 2025. Simultaneously, the freight unloaded was 192.29 tons, an increase of 11.88 percent of that in January 2025.
The number of railway passengers departing in February 2025 was 816,492 people, which decreased by 16.88 percent compared to January 2025. Meanwhile, the number of passengers arriving was 846,987 people, decreased by 14.40 percent.
The freight transported by train in February 2025 decreased by 1.47 percent to 23,552 tons compared to January 2025. Meanwhile, the freight unloaded decreased by 3.40 percent to 32,474 tons.
