Abstract

  • The NTP of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in March 2025 reached 106.11, down 0.02 percent compared to the previous month of 106.14. The Farmer's Exchange Rate for the food crop sub-sector was 101.63, the horticulture sub-sector 138.28; the smallholder plantation sub-sector 128.16; the livestock sub-sector 99.74; and the fisheries sub-sector 93.19.
  • The increase in the combined NTP index this month was influenced by the increase in three sub-sectors, namely: horticulture by 9.83 percent; smallholder plantation crops by 0.62 percent; and fisheries by 0.67 percent. Meanwhile, two sub-sectors fell, namely food crops by 1.63 percent and livestock by 0.92 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in March 2025 was recorded at 109.97, up 0.99 percent compared to the previous month of 108.89.
  • The rural Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in March 2025 generally reached 129.17, experiencing inflation of 1.79 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 126.89.
  • Of the 38 provinces in March 2025, the NTP in 18 provinces increased while 20 provinces decreased. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Gorontalo at 4.05 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Southwest Papua at 5.50 percent.
