Hotel Occupancy Rate in D.I. Yogyakarta Decreased in February 2025, but the Length of Stay for Star Hotel Guests Increased.

Abstract

The room occupancy rate (ROR) of star hotels in February 2025 was 52.34 percent, which increased by 0.30 percentage points compared to February 2024 (y-on-y), but decreased by 4.50 percentage points compared to the previous month (m-to-m). Meanwhile, the room occupancy rate of non-star hotels was 21.46 percent, which decreased by 2.89 percentage points compared to February 2024 (y-on-y) and 4.76 percentage points compared to the previous month (m-to-m).
The average length of stay at star hotels in February 2025 was 1.55 nights. This was higher by 0.08 points compared to January 2025 (m-to-m), and 0.10 points to February 2024 (y-on-y). Commonly, foreign guests stayed longer than Indonesian guests. In February 2025, the average length of stay in star hotels for foreign guests was 1.95 nights, while Indonesian guests had 1.54 nights.
