Abstract

  • The NTP of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in April 2025 reached 105.67, down 0.41 percent compared to the previous month of 106.11. The Farmer's Exchange Rate for the food crops sub-sector was 99.17; the horticulture sub-sector 149.97; the smallholder plantation sub-sector 132.99; the livestock sub-sector 98.34; and the fisheries sub-sector 91.41.
  • The decline in the combined NTP index this month was influenced by the decline in three sub-sectors, namely: food crops by 2.42 percent; livestock by 1.40 percent; and fisheries by 1.92 percent. Meanwhile, two sub-sectors increased, namely horticulture by 8.46 percent and smallholder plantation crops by 3.77 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in April 2025 was recorded at 110.76, up 0.72 percent compared to the previous month of 109.97.
  • The rural Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in April 2025 generally reached 131.49, experiencing inflation of 1.80 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 129.17.
  • Of the 38 provinces in April 2025, the NTP in 7 provinces increased while 31 provinces decreased. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Central Papua at 0.63 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Bengkulu at 7.23 percent.
