Economic Growth of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Quarter I-2025

Abstract

The economy of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in the first quarter of 2025, measured based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices, reached IDR 50.95 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached IDR 32.25 trillion.
The economy of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the first quarter of 2024 grew by 5.11 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Business Sector experienced the highest growth of 14.83 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, Household Consumption Expenditure (PKRT) experienced the highest growth of 4.80 percent.
The economy of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the previous quarter experienced a growth of 0.97 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Business Sector at 41.66 percent. In terms of expenditure, the PKRT component experienced the highest growth of 0.69 percent.
