Yogyakarta Consumer Price Indices 2018

Publication of the Yogyakarta City Consumer Price Index 2018 is an annual publication issued by the Provincial Statistics Agency D.I. Yogyakarta. This publication presents information on the consumer price index (CPI) along with the percentage change, for the 2018 calendar year according to the expenditure groups and subgroups. Data is presented in the form of index tables and percentage changes.Basic overview of the data presented is described as follows: The inflation rate of Yogyakarta City in 2018 is 2.66 percent, higher than the national figure which reached 3.13 percent. The largest change in index occurred in the clothing group, which amounted to 3.61 percent with a share of 0.19 percent. During 2018 the city of Yogyakarta experienced the highest inflation in December which reached 0.57 percent, while the largest deflation occurred in August at 0.26 percent. Some commodities that have contributed positively to the occurrence of inflation in Yogyakarta City in 2018 include: gasoline, carpenters, not foremen, elementary school rates, and chicken meat.
