Summary Metadata of Sectoral and Special Statistics Activities Special Region of Yogyakarta 2023

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) has duties and responsibilities as the coordinator of all statistical activities in Indonesia based on Law No. 16 of 1997 on Statistics and Government Regulation No. 51 of 1999 on the Implementation of Statistics. As the coordinator, BPS needs to collect, document and then disseminate general information (metadata) about statistical activities that have been organized by all parties in Indonesia. These statistical activities include basic statistics conducted by BPS, sectoral statistics conducted by local government agencies/institutions and special statistics conducted by other institutions/communities. Summary of Metadata of Sectoral and Special Statistical Activities of Yogyakarta Province explains how to plan data collection activities to recapitulate the results of metadata collection. This publication is expected to provide information to stakeholders, for the purposes of evaluation, monitoring and planning of future activities. In addition, this publication also serves as documentation of activities for BPS in Yogyakarta Province as a form of compliance in supporting the acceleration of BPS bureaucratic reform.
