Profile of Micro and Small Industries of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta 2023

The role of micro and small scale processing industry (IMK) in the economy is very significant, especially in creating jobs and absorbing the workforce. IMK revives the potential of society and is able to survive various economic conditions. However, the government needs to increase its role in the economy. So far the government has implemented some of support programs, including incentive assistance and small business financing program. These programs require data and information so that the assistance provided is on target and able to support the successful development of micro and small industries.The 2023 micro and small industry profile is a publication of the results of the Annual Micro and Small Industry Survey (VIMK23). The statistical data presented in this publication provides an overview of the state of IMK in D.I. Yogyakarta. Some of them are data on the number of companies, workers, employee compensation, expenses, income, capital, business difficulties, business coaching and guidance, internet use and marketing. Data is presented according to the 020 two-digit Standard Classification Code for Indonesia Business Fields (KBLI) and Regency/Municipality.
