Housing Statistics of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Province 2024

The 3 million housing program launched during President Prabowo's leadership era is aimed at overcoming the housing backlog and providing decent housing for low-income communities (MBR). This program consists of the construction of 1 million housing units in urban areas and 2 million units in rural areas, including 1 million units in coastal areas. In achieving this development target, the need for data related to housing is inevitable. This data can be used both in terms of planning and evaluation, so that the targets set can be met and also as a mapping of the stakeholders who support it.The 2024 Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Housing Statistics Publication presents housing information including indicators and characteristics. The data presented is sourced from the results of the March 2024 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas). The presentation of the data is detailed according to Regency/City, village classification, gender of the head of household (KRT), highest level of education graduated by KRT and economic status.
