DIY Floods Tourists, Hotel Room Occupancy Rate Rises Sharply

December 2023, the Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in DIY reached 73.73 percent, up 6.96 points compared to the previous month, while the non-star TPK was recorded at 33.75 percent, up 10.67 points.

Starting January 2024, inflation measurement uses the base year 2022=100. With the new base year, in January 2024, Yogyakarta Province experienced year on year (yoy) inflation of 2.60 percent. The three main contributing commodities to yoy inflation were rice, red chili, and garlic.

The indicator was conveyed during the Press Release of Official Statistical News by the Head of BPS D.I. Yogyakarta Province, Herum Fajarwati in the Bima Room (01/02).
