Along with Economic Strengthening, Yogyakarta's Open Unemployment Rate Decreases

The Yogyakarta Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in February 2024 was 3.24 percent, down 0.34 percentage points compared to February 2023.

The working population of DIY in February 2024 was 2.13 million people with the highest labor absorption in the agricultural sector (24.62 percent). Compared to February 2023, the employment field that experienced the largest percentage increase in labor absorption was agriculture by 3.14 percentage points.

Some of the DIY employment indicators were conveyed by the Head of BPS DIY Province, Herum Fajarwati in the release of the Official Statistics News (6/5).
