Yogyakarta Province, Ir. Herum Fajarwati, M.M in the Truntum Meeting Room of BPS Prov. D.I. Yogyakarta. The following is a summary of the results of the press release:

DIY economy in Q2-2024 grew 4.95 percent (y-on-y).

When compared to the same period of the previous year (y-on-y), the DIY economy in Q2-2024 grew by 4.95 percent. Meanwhile, when compared to the first quarter of 2024 (q-to-q), the DIY economy in the second quarter of 2024 grew by 0.84 percent.

The structure of the DIY economy in the second quarter of 2024 was dominated by the manufacturing industry with a contribution of 11.87 percent, followed by agriculture at 10.72 percent, and accommodation and food and beverages at 10.37 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, household consumption expenditure still dominated with a contribution of 61.96 percent, followed by gross fixed capital formation of 33.28 percent, and government consumption expenditure of 13.82 percent.
