Final Report and Evaluation of Village Development Desa Cantik 2024

On Tuesday (22/10), the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Kulon Progo Regency held a Final Report and Evaluation of the Implementation of Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik) 2024. The Desa Cantik program is a strategic step to increase statistical literacy and awareness as well as the active role of village officials and the community in organizing statistical activities and optimizing the use of statistical data. Through this program, we are committed to ensuring that the data produced is not only accurate, but also relevant and reliable as the basis for better decision-making at the village level.

The activity, which was held at Bale Agung within the Kulon Progo Regional Government, was attended by Expert Staff for Economy and Development of the Kulon Progo Regency Government Mr. Sutarman, S.STP. M.Eng., representatives of the Kulon Progo Communication and Information Office, representatives of Bappeda Kulon Progo, Head of BPS DI Yogyakarta Province, Head of BPS Kulon Progo Regency, Panewu Kapanewon Wates, and Head of Giripeni Village and his staff. At this meeting, statistical agents were given the opportunity to submit a report on the series of statistical coaching activities that had been received in Giripeni Village.
