DIY Rice Harvest Area in 2024 Decreases

#sahabatdata, 2024, the potential rice harvest area is around 97.47 thousand hectares, estimated to decrease by 8.23 thousand hectares or 7.78 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 of 105.69 thousand hectares.

Rice production in 2024 is estimated at 454.27 thousand tons of milled dry grain (MDG), a decrease of 79.84 thousand tons of MDG or 14.95 percent compared to rice production in 2023 of 534.11 thousand tons of MDG.
