Yogyakarta Province, Ir. Herum Fajarwati, M.M. in Truntum Room BPS Prov. D.I. Yogyakarta. The following is a summary of the results of the press release:

1.    February 2025 saw deflation (y-on-y) of 0.30% with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.33.

2.   DIY NTP rose by 1.65% in February 2025.

3.    January 2025, the number of domestic passenger arrivals through Adisutjipto Airport and Yogyakarta International Airport was 149,652 people.

The number of rail transportation passengers departing through 5 stations in Yogyakarta in January 2025 was 982,248 people.

4.       January 2025, DIY Exports fell 26.86% and Imports rose 17.23% compared to the previous month.

Exports reached US$43.41 million and Imports were valued at US$18.57 million.

5.   The rice harvest area in 2024 reached 96.98 thousand hectares or decreased by 8.72 thousand hectares (8.25 percent) compared to 2023.

In line with the harvest area, rice production in 2024 reached 452.83 thousand tons of GKG or decreased by 8.28 thousand tons (15.22 percent) compared to 2023.

6.   Corn harvest area in 2024 reached 37.55 thousand hectares, a decrease of 2.51 thousand hectares (6.26 percent) compared to 2023.

In line with the harvest area, the production of dry shelled corn with a moisture content of 14 percent in 2024 reached 189.38 thousand tons, a decrease of 28.17 thousand tons (12.95 percent) compared to 2023.
