Socialization of Family-Based Social and Economic Data Collection

Tuesday (6/5) Plt. Head of BPS DIY Province, Herum Fajarwati and Head of BPS Kulon Progo Regency, Sumarwiyanto attended the Socialization of Family-Based Social and Economic Data Collection using the Sipedet Cantik 2025 Application. The event was organized by the Kulon Progo Regency Government in the Adikarta Hall which also invited all OPDs, Panewu, and Lurah in the Kulon Progo Regency.

Representing the Regent of Kulon Progo, Assistant for Economic and Development of the Kulon Progo Regional Secretariat, Bambang Tri Budi Harsono delivered remarks as well as opening the event. He said that this Social and Economic Data Collection Activity was a continuation of the previous activity in 2024 which had been carried out in 2 kapanewon, namely Kapanewon Pengasih and Kokap. In 2025, data collection is planned to be carried out in 10 kapanewon, in addition to Kapanewon Pengasih and Kokap.

As a result of the implementation of this activity, the family database of the entire population of Kulon Progo Regency will be documented. With the support of more accurate data, better development planning can be prepared, which in turn is expected to improve the welfare of the community.
