Abstract

The export value of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in September 2021 reached US$45.7 million, an increase of 4.10 percent compared to exports in August 2021. Compared to September 2020, the export value increased by 29.46 percent.
  • Cumulatively, the export value of the Special Region of Yogyakarta from January to September 2021 reached US$388.5 million, an increase of 39.95 percent over the same period in 2020.
  • The largest export in September 2021 was to the United States at US$21.1 million, followed by Japan at US$3.4 million and Australia at US$2.6 million, with the contribution of the three reaching 59.30 percent. Meanwhile, exports to ASEAN and the European Union amounted to US$1.1 million and US$11.5 million, respectively.
  • The biggest increase in exports from September 2021 to August 2021 occurred in paper/cardboard of US$1.1 million (61.11 percent). Meanwhile, the largest decline occurred in essential oils and perfumed cosmetics by US$2.1 million (75.00 percent).
  • According to sector, exports of processing industry products from January to September 2021 rose 40.19 percent compared to the same period in 2020. Meanwhile, exports of agricultural products rose 17.24 percent.
  • According to the province of goods delivery, the largest exports of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in September 2021 were sent via Central Java with a value of US$29.3 million (64.11 percent), followed by DKI Jakarta at US$14.5 million (31.73 percent) and East Java at US$1. .9 million (4.16 percent) .
