Abstract

  • The export value of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in February 2022 reached US$47.2 million, down 8.88 percent compared to January 2022. Compared to February 2021, the export value increased by 2.39 percent.
  • Cumulatively, the export value of the Special Region of Yogyakarta from January to February 2022 reached US$99.0 million, an increase of 16.33 percent over the same period in 2021.
  • The largest export in February 2022 was to the United States at US$19.7 million, followed by Germany at US$4.5 million and Japan at US$3.1 million, with the contribution of the three reaching 57.84 percent. Meanwhile, exports to the European Union and ASEAN were US$13.9 million and US$1.3 million, respectively.
  • The largest increase in exports in February 2022 compared to January 2022 occurred in essential oils, perfumed cosmetics, amounting to US $ 1.2 million (92.31 percent). Meanwhile, the largest decline occurred in knitted goods of US$1.3 million (22.03 percent).
  • By sector, exports of agricultural products in February 2022 fell 33.33 percent compared to January 2022. Meanwhile, exports of processing industry products fell 8.74 percent. Compared to February 2021, exports of agricultural products rose 100.00 percent. Meanwhile, exports of processing industry products rose 2.17 percent.
  • According to the loading port province, the largest exports of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in February 2022 were sent via Central Java with a value of US$28.6 million (60.59 percent), followed by DKI Jakarta at US$17.7 million (37.50 percent) and East Java at US$0. .9 million (1.91 percent).
