Analyse of Potential Performance Improvement of Micro and Small Enterprise of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta

For implementing Statistics Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) has conducted a data collection event complete or listing of the 2016 Economic Census (SE2016). To obtain a more detailed picture of the activities of Micro Small Business (MSE) and Business Medium Large (UMB), in 2017 the SE2016 Continued data collection. The UMK and UMB SE2016 data collection is intended to produce detailed data micro-small and medium-large businesses /companies as a basis for the formulation of various policies and analyzes both macro and micro. Furthermore, the results of the SE2016 Advanced data collection can be carried out analysis and policy formulation to measure the performance of Micro Small Enterprises (MSEs) by providing an overview of the characteristics / quality of human resources, conditions of capital accessibility, business prospects, and financial performance. The information is expected to be able to contribute to the government to assist the development of MSEs through guidance and formulation of regulations that are able to protect and improve the performance of MSEs. Thus, the role of MSEs in local economic activities is getting stronger.
