Abstract
Efforts to break the chain of the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak ultimately have an impact on both the social and economic fields. Political and security dynamics are also inseparable from the influence of the Covid-19 outbreak. The direct impact of the outbreak of the Covid-19 outbreak is the postponement of the simultaneous regional elections. The local election was originally scheduled for September 23, 2020. However, given the unfavorable situation, the government issued a policy related to the postponement of the 2020 simultaneous local elections. In addition to having an impact on delaying the 2020 regional elections, the COVID-19 outbreak has also raised concerns in the form of low voter participation in the regional elections that were forced to be held. in the midst of a pandemic.
