Abstract

The security aspect in 2022 shows dynamics. Activity restrictions and health regulations that were previously very strict in order to prevent the spread of the Covid19 outbreak will begin to be relaxed in 2022. This has implications for increasing mobility and space for people to move around.

Meanwhile, the political situation and conditions in 2022 will still be relatively calm. This is thought to be related to the political year 2024, which is still a long way off so it has not yet attracted the magnet of political dynamics. Another factor that is thought to have influenced the calm political situation in 2022 is the postponement of the regional head elections (Pilkada) in 2022.

To carry out the function of law enforcement and community protection, in 2022, there will be 10,077 police personnel on duty at Polda D.I. Yogyakarta. Of this number, 9,331 were male police officers and 746 were female police officers. Meanwhile, police personnel on duty at police stations/polresta throughout D.I. Yogyakarta recorded 6,796 people. If broken down by gender, 6,355 people are male and 441 other people are female.

Overall, taking into account police officers at the D.I Yogyakarta Regional Police Headquarters, in 2022, the ratio of police per population in D.I. Yogyakarta is 1:373. In 2021, the ratio of police per population was recorded at 1:383. This shows a decrease in the workload of the police from 2021 to 2022. The decreasing ratio of the number of people who must be served is expected to further increase the function of protecting and protecting the police towards the community.

The case resolution figure or clearance rate in 2022 shows a decline compared to conditions a year earlier. In 2022 the crime resolution rate will be 55.54 percent. Meanwhile, in 2021, the case resolution rate was 69.18 percent. Furthermore, when compared with 2020, where the crime report completion rate was 76.41, this condition also shows a decline.

In 2022, the crime rate in D.I. Yogyakarta most often occurs in the Sleman Police area. In Sleman, the time between one crime and another is only around 5 hours 3 minutes 48 seconds. Thus, on average, every 5 hours there is 1 new crime case in this district. Other districts where crime intensity is also relatively high in D.I. Yogyakarta is Bantul Regency. On average, the time interval for a crime to occur in Bantul is 5 hours 40 minutes 11 seconds. Meanwhile, the longest time interval for crimes occurred in Gunungkidul Regency. In 2022, the crime time interval in this district will be more than 24 hours.

In 2022, the highest crime rate in D.I. Yogyakarta is registered in the City of Yogyakarta. The crime rate in Yogyakarta City was recorded at 205. This condition shows that on average there are 205 crime cases for every 100,000 residents.

Based on the location of the victim's report, the majority of victims came from reports at the Sleman Police. The number of crime victims based on reports at the Sleman Police was recorded at 1,419 people. The majority of victims were male, namely 918 people. There were 501 female victims. Meanwhile, the victims from the Kulon Progo Police were recorded as the fewest. The number of victims based on crime reports in Kulon Progo district was 113 people, consisting of 74 men and 39 women.

In 2022, the composition of members of the Provincial DPRD D.I. Yogyakarta consisted of 44 men (80 percent) and 11 women (20 percent). This condition shows that this legislative body is still dominated by male members. However, when compared with the composition of DPRD members in 2019, it can be seen that there was an increase in the number of women due to interim changes (PAW). In 2019, the number of male DPRD members was 46 people (83.64 percent) and 9 female members (16.36 percent).

The IDI value in 2022 also places D.I. Yogyakarta is ranked first in IDI achievements compared to other provinces in Indonesia in 2022. Previously, in 2021, this region's IDI ranking was in third place nationally.

In 2022, of the 22 indicators that make up the IDI, six of them achieved the highest achievement with a score of 100 and are included in the "good" category. However, there is still one indicator with achievements that fall into the "bad" category, namely the performance indicator for legislative institutions with a value of 30.77. The measure of achievement of this indicator is the number of regional regulations that have been successfully promulgated compared to the target of regional regulations in the regional regulation formation program.
