Population Projections for Districts in the Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta 2020-2035, results of the 2020 Population Census (SP2020

The publication of District Population Projections for the Special Region of Yogyakarta 2020-2035 results of the 2020 Population Census (SP2020) is a series of activities for calculating population projections at the provincial level which have been completed at the end of 2023. Population projections up to the district/city level are calculated using the component method, Meanwhile, population projections at sub-district level use mathematical methods based on population results from SP2020. The data presented in the 2020-2035 Publication of District Population Projections for the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province is the result of calculating population projections for D.I. Yogyakarta up to the sub-district level. The data and information submitted includes population projections according to gender and age groups, as well as several other population indicators including population growth, population distribution, sex ratio, and dependency ratio. The figures presented are population projection figures for a fifteen year period, namely from 2020 to 2035. The aim and objective of this publication is to fulfill the need for population data at the sub-district level which can be used to support current and future development planning. .
